Wedding in Seychelles
Seychelles is one of the few places in the world where you can get legally married on a beach, receive an internationally recognised marriage certificate, and be back home within a week. No months of paperwork. No residency requirements. Just a beach, a registrar, and a ceremony you will remember for the rest of your life.
The islands sit just south of the equator in the Indian Ocean, 115 of them, framed by ancient granite boulders that are found nowhere else on earth. Temperatures sit between 24°C and 32°C year-round. The main islands of Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue sit outside the cyclone belt, which makes Seychelles genuinely an all-season destination. There is no bad month to get married here. There are better ones and there are peak season ones, but none of them are bad.
Stress-free from start to finish
A civil wedding in Seychelles requires a handful of documents in English or French, a registrar, and two witnesses. We handle the submission to the Civil Status Office, the registrar booking, the beach permit, the ceremony setup, and the apostille from the Seychelles Supreme Court after the ceremony. Your certificate is valid in 124 countries the day you receive it.
What you handle: gathering your documents before you travel, booking your flights, and showing up.
UAE and GCC couples: since April 2026 we also handle the full UAE registration in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Seychelles. You receive a confirmation email that your marriage is registered in the UAE. Nothing to do on your side after you land back in Dubai.
Endless beaches, granite boulders, and a pace of life you will not find anywhere else
The beaches here are unlike anything in the Caribbean or Southeast Asia. The granite rock formations are unique to Seychelles and hundreds of millions of years old. Anse Source d’Argent on La Digue is consistently listed as one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. Anse Lazio on Praslin is the one that makes photographers go quiet.
After the ceremony, most couples stay on. The resorts range from comfortable guesthouses at €80 per night to private island properties starting at €1,500. You can snorkel directly from the beach, hike through the Morne Seychellois National Park above Victoria, watch sea turtles nesting at night on the east coast of Mahé, or do absolutely nothing at all. Seychelles accommodates both.
